| Objective | This document reports on condition monitoring at LMW. The approach of Icon Site condition monitoring is to monitor at pre-determined, permanent sites at a pre-determined schedule. In the case of LMW, monitoring for each component occurs annually. The results obtained are compared between years to show changes in condition and are assessed against the ecological objectives and targets defined for LMW. Icon Site condition monitoring has been developed to: Determine the change in environmental condition of individual assets resulting from water application and the implementation of works programs under The Living Murray. Assess whether sustainable native fish, bird and vegetation communities are being maintained across the Icon Sites. |
